We would rather put real plates in your hands than talk about them. Every approved trade account gets the same kit, shipped together.

The Sample Board
Six real plates on a mounted board - one in every finish we make: shiny, aged and fully-aged brass, gilded hardwood in gold and silver, and silver aluminum. Each is cut to a different size and shape, so you can feel the difference between a ⅝″ × 3″ and a 1″ × 4″. Finish and scale are the two things a screen cannot show honestly - keep it on the counter and put it in your customer's hands.

Two Nameplates
Not blanks, not demos. Two finished plates engraved to your specification - so put a real customer's job on them. Design them yourself in the Nameplate Designer exactly as you would any order.

Your Trade Account
Design and order online whenever it suits you, at the counter with a customer beside you or after hours. No fee, no minimum order, no annual commitment. Plates ship to your store.

What we need
from you.

Very little, and it takes about two minutes. We are verifying that you are a real framing business, nothing more.

Your Name and Your Store

Your own name, and the name of your frame shop or gallery as it trades.

An Email Address

A business email we can reach you at. This is where your welcome code and every order confirmation will go.

Your Shipping Address

Where the kit goes, and where your orders will go afterwards. A commercial address please - this is a trade account.

Texas Businesses Only: A Resale Certificate

If your shop is in Texas, we need a completed Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate on file before we can sell to you tax free. It is a one-page form, you fill it in once, and it covers every order you place with us from then on.

HOW TO COMPLETE IT

Download Form 01-339 from the Texas Comptroller. Complete the top half - the Resale Certificate section, not the Exemption Certification below it.

Enter your Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit number, list your seller as Brassery, and describe the items as nameplates for resale. Sign, date, and upload it with the form below or email it to us.

Outside Texas? Nothing is required. Skip this step entirely.

We Reply With Your Welcome Code

Once we have confirmed your shop, you get a short email with a single-use welcome code for your two free plates.

Design Your Two Plates

Everything happens right here on the site - nothing to install. Open the nameplate designer, choose your size, shape and finish, set your text, and take it through to checkout as you would any order.

Do not hold back - use a live customer job. That is the point.

Enter the Code at Checkout

Type your welcome code into the discount box and press Apply. The cost of the plates comes off the total, leaving the $6 shipping to pay. Check out exactly as you would on any order.

The Board Ships With Them

You do not need to order the sample board or add it to anything. We see the welcome code on the order and put the board in the same package.
