Brassery ("we", "us") operates the website at brassery.net. This policy explains what information, if any, is collected and how it is used.
No account is required to browse this website or to design a nameplate. You may use the designer as freely as you like without telling us who you are. We ask for personal details only at the point you place an order or register a trade account.
When you use the nameplate preview feature on this website, the plate specification text you enter is sent to our preview server (api.brassery.net) to generate an image. This text is used only to render the preview and is not retained or associated with you in any way.
When you submit an order through this website, we collect your name, email address, and plate specification for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order and communicating with you about it. We do not share this information with any third party.
If you register a trade account as a framing business, we collect your name, your business name, your email address, your telephone number where given, and your shipping address, solely in order to set up and service that account.
Texas businesses are asked to provide a completed Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate (Form 01-339). We retain it only as evidence of why sales tax was not collected on your orders, which the Texas Comptroller requires sellers to keep on file, and we use it for no other purpose. It is not disclosed to anyone other than the Texas Comptroller, and then only in the event of an audit.
